I honestly don’t read a ton of series anymore, but I like to take a break between books when I do, for sure. Too much time in any one universe can get to be too much, even if you’re enjoying it overall!

Unfortunately for me, most of the reading I do is fantasy which means 9/10 times it’ll be a series. I sometimes feel like I’m set up for failure these days. My attention span and such are not what they used to be. But it’s a good idea to read something between each book. I try to go two or three books before switching to something different; maybe I need to be like you and alternate after each book.
