A/N: I haven’t made a whole lot of movement this week as I have been dealing with a few other things but I have been reading…just not finishing stuff. I am working toward a job (more on that if I get the job as it is book related — wish me luck!) and so have been focusing on that. Anyway, I digress, let’s get to the books!
What I Am Reading Now
I haven’t moved forward at all in this book as I have been concentrating on book club books. Still excited to read more though!
I am over halfway finished with this book and I gotta say I am surprised by how much I hate the main character and by how interested I am in what happens/is happening to her. Will finish this this week as I have a book club meeting on it on Sunday.
I have made movement on this book as well and I hope to finish it by next Wednesday with little issue. Still beautiful. Still enchanting. Love Naomi Novik.
No movement but, again, have been focusing on book club books. Will hopefully make some movement after this weekend’s book club meeting, if not sooner.
What I Have Finished Reading
I finished this for a short book book club held by my local Indie book store. I enjoyed it although not as much as I had hoped I would. Still, it was very good and the author is excellent at descriptions. Check out my review here!
What I’m Reading Next
I am so excited for this book but at the same time I hate that it’ll be the last one for at least a year. Still, once I catch up on the other books I’m reading, I am going to dive into this one head first.
I still keep seeing such good things about this book and its sequel. It keeps me on my toes and excited to start!
I am looking forward to reading this book and I hope it is as creepy as promised. It’s an ARC so I’ll let you know asap!
My milspouse book club just chose this for our July read so I’ll be working on this next month. I just wanted to go ahead and add it to the list so that there was some variety from last Wednesday. I know it’s cheating but it’s my blog so there.
Someone in my milspouse book club has a tattoo/sleeve from this book and it reaffirmed it as a soon read on my tbr. I cannot wait.
I know there wasn’t a whole lot of change but I am determined that next Wednesday will see a lot of movement. My goal is to finish three of the books I’m reading and start two new ones and thus add two new “To Be Read Next” books. See you guys then! Happy Wednesday and Happy Reading!
