A/N: I made a lot more movement this week in what I finished but not in what I started. I had a few job prospects that didn’t pan out and it depressed me some, so I didn’t read as much as I had hoped.
Next week should look very different, I hope!!

What I Am Reading Now

No movement on this one yet but like the next book, I was focused solely on finishing the two books I was furthest in. I expect I will finish this one this week. I’m excited to get back to it!

Still no movement hear but I was wholly focused on finishing a book for book club and another that I had fallen in love and was almost finished with (See next section). I am super excited to get back to this though and see what the retelling has in store for me.

What I Have Finished Reading

This book honestly surprised me with how much I enjoyed it despite hating the man character. I was not expecting to be so engrossed in the book and yet I was. Kudos to Burke. Be sure to check out my full review here!

I absolutely loved this book. So far, Naomi Novik is a two for two amazing author for me. After reading this and Uprooted and loving them so deeply I think she is definitely an instant buy author. I need to read everything else she has written as soon as possible. Check out my review for this book here.

What I’m Reading Next

I STILL keep finding amazing commentary on this book and its sequel and it is making me itch to start it but I am trying so hard to finish what I am currently working on first. So excited!

This will likely be the next book that I start once I finish what I am working on right now since I have to finish it by the end of the month for Edelweiss+. I’m looking forward to some spooky to cool off the summer months!

I also keep hearing amazing things about this book PLUS the author just posted a lot about the next one and that has me excited as well. I cannot wait to dive into this.

I have seen a few people discuss this book and they loved it so I’m excited to read it but I know it’s going to hurt. It’s one of those situations that I’m looking forward to the book but I know that it’s going to devastate me so I am simultaneously not looking forward to the pain. We’ll see how it goes.

I’m going to be honest. Part of me is putting this off because I don’t want to be caught up and have to wait for book 9. But the rest of me is so excited for this.

So not a whole lot has changed this week, but I did finish two books which I’m happy about. Next week should definitely look a lot different. See you guys then!
